What is Mosael
A local-first desktop AI video studio: generate images and video, edit, dub, make digital humans, automate with workflows and publish, all in one workspace.
Interface version 1.9.8 · 2026-10-05
Mosael is a local-first desktop AI video studio for macOS and Windows. Generate images, video and music with your own model accounts or your own ComfyUI, then edit, subtitle, dub and publish in the same app. Media, documents, boards, 3D scenes and editing projects share a workspace, with agents and workflows available to help move work between them.
From research to a finished piece#
- Collect material: keep footage, images and sound in the media library; import PDFs, Word files, slides and spreadsheets as documents that are parsed into readable text on your machine; keep scripts, transcripts and research in notes, where selecting a passage lets the AI assistant polish, rewrite or translate it, or reads it aloud and puts it on a board; and save recurring characters, locations and props as named entries in the asset library. Open a profile in the browser pool and a page's screenshots, videos, images and text go to the media library or a note in one click, as do files you download there.
- Plan visually: connect documents, references, assets, 3D scenes and generation items on a creative board. Items do their own work — transcribe, translate, denoise, split a grid — and a timeline item gives you a rough cut right on the board. Comments and markers keep the discussion anchored.
- Rehearse shots: arrange space and lighting in 3D scenes, animate cameras and objects, then use the resulting shots as image or video references.
- Make the edit: talk to the agent and generate images, video and music in AI Studio; make a face speak or re-sync lips with digital humans; then edit with timelines, transcripts, captions, voiceover, color and export; a cloned voice speaks locally, or from a copy cloned into your own Bailian account for CosyVoice.
- Repeat and publish: reuse steps with workflows (official templates cover finished videos, translated dubbing, product shorts and social analytics), arrange scheduled runs, and track uploads in Publish.
- Extend and manage: plugins bring in ComfyUI, object storage, document parsing and more, and ComfyUI's model and workflow libraries let you browse, download and import that server's models and workflows; on a shared deployment, the deployment admin installs engines and manages members and costs in the admin console.

Create a project on Studio, the home page (you name it first and it stays there), then click anywhere on its card or row to open it in the editor; Select lets you delete projects in bulk. Media, Assets, Notes, 3D Scenes, boards and the other pages live in the left sidebar; task, publishing and AI cost summaries are in Statistics.
Data and network access#
Projects and media are stored on your computer by default. Organizing local media, editing and exporting can work offline. Cloud models, URL downloads, online tools and platform publishing need a network connection. Local transcription and local voice cloning require their model files to be downloaded first; a cloned voice spoken by Bailian's CosyVoice needs no download, but its reference clip is uploaded to your Bailian account (you're asked the first time).
When connected to a team backend, shared data lives on that server. Browser sign-in profiles remain on the desktop device that runs uploads and automation. See remote deployment and browser profiles.
Where to start#
Install the app, then follow the quick start to make an export. Connect a model service when you need AI. The documentation follows this sequence: Get started → Organize & plan → Produce & edit → Automate & publish → Extend & deploy. On a phone, the compact navigation bar opens either the full documentation or this page's headings.
